Day By Day Itinerary

  • Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve (265 km – 5 to 6 hours)

    Start your adventure with a 7:30 AM pickup from Nairobi, embarking on a scenic drive through the stunning Great African Rift Valley in route to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. As you approach the famed Serengeti plains, prepare to witness an array of iconic African wildlife.

    After lunch at your lodge or camp, you’ll have time to relax before embarking on your first afternoon game drive. This is your opportunity to see the “Big Five” of Kenya: Lions,Elephants,Leopards, Buffalo &Rhinos

    Your expert safari guide will lead the way, pointing out various wildlife including herds of wildebeest, Maasai giraffes, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, and many other animals roaming the plains. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or Camp

  • Day 2: Full Day Exploring Maasai Mara

    Spend the entire day exploring the vast landscapes of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, home to an abundant variety of wildlife. From predators to prey, the reserve offers countless opportunities to observe animals in their natural habitat.

    Optional: Visit a traditional Maasai village, where you’ll be welcomed with vibrant music and dance. Learn about the nomadic culture, hear stories of their battles with Serengeti wildlife, and gain insight into their daily life. This activity has an additional cost of $20 per person. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or Camp

  • Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park (300 km – 5 to 6 hours)

    After breakfast at your lodge, you’ll depart for Lake Nakuru via the Great Rift Valley, where you’ll be greeted by flocks of both lesser and greater flamingos that paint the lake pink. Lake Nakuru is also home to over 400 bird species. Alongside the birds, you can spot black and white rhinos and the rare Rothschild giraffe. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or Camp

  • Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha (92 km – 2 hours)

    After breakfast, head out for another game drive through Lake Nakuru, where you’ll encounter more of the magnificent wildlife. Arrive at your camp or lodge at Lake Naivasha for lunch, followed by an afternoon boat ride to Crescent Island at an extra cost. Here, you’ll find an abundance of herbivores such as: Zebras, Wildebeest, Giraffes, Hipposets. After a day of wildlife exploration, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay within the national park.

  • Day 5: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park (310 km – 5 to 6 hours)

    Following breakfast, journey to Hells’ Gate National Park, one of the few places in the world where you can explore on foot or by bicycle. The park is home to zebras, warthogs, giraffes, and fascinating volcanic landscapes. You’ll also have the chance to visit a geothermal power station to see how humans harness the Earth’s natural forces.

    Continue your safari with a drive to Amboseli National Park, enjoying a picnic lunch on the way. In the late afternoon, arrive at your camp or lodge in Amboseli, where dinner will be served.

  • Day 6: Full Day Exploring Amboseli National Park

    Start early to catch breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, often framed by morning clouds at the summit. The mountain’s majestic presence will set the stage for a day filled with wildlife sightings. Amboseli is known for its large populations of wildebeest, giraffes, baboons, lions, and more.

    Optional: Visit a Maasai village where you’ll experience traditional singing and dancing. Learn about the rich culture and bravery of the Maasai warriors, and get a glimpse into their homes and way of life. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or Camp

  • Day 7: Amboseli National Park to Nairobi (250 km – 4 to 5 hours)

    Begin your final day with a 6:00 AM breakfast, followed by an early morning game drive. This is your last chance to witness the incredible wildlife of the African plains before leaving Amboseli. After your game drive, you’ll head back to Nairobi. Depending on your next destination, you can opt for a drop-off at a hotel, residence, or the airport.
