Your safari adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your Mombasa hotel or Moi International Airport. Hit the open road headed northwest to Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s oldest and one of the largest game parks in Africa.
Enjoy a game drive en route to Voi Safari Lodge, offering you early glimpses of the park’s dust-red elephants, as well as possibilities of spotting lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and waterbucks. Check in at the lodge and enjoy a well-deserved lunch while overlooking the vast Tsavo plains.
Later in the afternoon, embark on another game drive in search of Tsavo’s famed wildlife, including the legendary man-eating lions, leopards, hippos, crocodiles, and the graceful gerenuk. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
After an early morning game drive and a hearty breakfast, check out and proceed to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, a unique and biologically rich area nestled in the southeastern reaches of Kenya.
Arrive around midday at Sarova Taita Hills Game Lodge for lunch and check-in. Afterward, you’ll transfer to the iconic Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge, dramatically built on stilts and overlooking a busy waterhole where animals gather, especially during the golden hours.
The afternoon is dedicated to a game drive within the sanctuary, where wildlife is abundant and bird enthusiasts may be lucky enough to spot endemic species like the Taita White-eye and Taita Thrush. Enjoy dinner and a peaceful overnight stay with uninterrupted views of the nocturnal wildlife at the waterhole.
Begin your day with an early morning game drive, then return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out. Your journey continues westward to Tsavo West National Park, known for its rugged volcanic landscapes and dramatic terrain.
Drive through the park with game viewing en route to Ngulia Safari Lodge, set against the backdrop of the Ngulia Hills and overlooking a floodlit waterhole, where leopards are occasionally spotted at night.
After lunch and a short rest, head out for an afternoon game drive in this diverse habitat that includes lava flows, acacia woodlands, and crystal-clear springs. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, start your day with a visit to Mzima Springs, a picturesque oasis where you can observe hippos and fish swimming in clear spring-fed pools. Keep an eye out for monkeys, crocodiles, and exotic birdlife.
From there, continue your journey northward to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Check in at your camp and enjoy a brief rest before heading out for an afternoon game drive.
Amboseli is one of the best places in Africa to get close to large herds of elephants and offers exceptional views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest peak. Wildlife in the swamps and open plains includes cheetahs, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and zebras. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight at Manjaro tented Camp OrAA Amboseli Lodge.
Start your day with an early morning game drive to capture your final wildlife moments against the sunrise. Return to the camp for breakfast, then check out and enjoy a short en-route game drive as you leave Amboseli behind.
Drive northward to Nairobi, arriving in time for a delightful lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant (included or optional depending on your package). Afterward, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure.

I just completed my 4-day trip to Mount Kenya and I’m very satisfied with all the services provided. I received excellent assistance throughout the entire process, from start to finish. I would strongly recommend choosing them if you’re planning a trip to Kenya—I would definitely choose them again if I return.Posted on Ajith Vasudevan2025.03.03.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After screening and talking to about 5 travel operators, I decided to go with Nature Romp for an 8 day safari in Kenya, in Feb 2025. Their rate was competitive and selection of lodges to stay very good. Initially I was skeptical due to less reviews about Nature Romp in public domain. However when I talked to Yvonne, I understood that theirs is a fairly new company and I decided to go with them. We (my daughter and I) opted for a private tour covering Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli. We were received at the Nairobi airport and the next day early morning Yvonne, Lucy and Maxwell (guide cum driver) welcomed us at the hotel, prior to starting the safari. We instantly felt at home and from then onwards it was a positive experience all the time. Our guide Maxwell is an excellent guide. He knew about birds and animals, their behavior and diligent in driving (safe driving). He was always on time. If i had to do anything differently, its only about selecting the stay option at one place (Naivasha). Although the accommodation was very good, it was pretty far from the National park. Drawing the route map and time to take to this palace would have helped me giving an additional 4 hours for bird photography. Thank you Yvonne and Maxwell. I surely plan to do another safari with Nature Romp in 2026Posted on Charles Otieno2024.11.26.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. initially asked for 3 quotations for my 7-days safari in Kenya (Masai Mara-Amboseli-Nakuru-Naivasha). All 3 tours companies replied me right away but Ms Yvonne Ateka from Nature Romp Safaris was by far the most outstanding and patient in answering dozens of my questions concerning visa, safety, accommodation, preparation, etc… She was also extremely flexible in helping me changing my safari schedule due to my unexpected 2-days delay at transit airport New Delhi. The entire tour was fascinating!!! It was the very best trip I’ve ever had (I’ve travelled 30+ countries so far)! Kenyan nature and wildlife is breathtakingly beautiful even more than I’ve imagined before… Freddy was very caring, knowledgeable and a super offroad driver. Thank you so much again Yvonne & Freddy for making my trip in Kenya a great experience! I would wholeheartedly recommend you guys for all my friends travelling to you amazing country!Posted on Paola2024.03.09.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
