From the flamingo-filled Lake Nakuru to the sprawling plains of the Masai Mara, this itinerary brings you face-to-face with Africa’s extraordinary wildlife, including the Big Five, in their natural habitats. Explore the Serengeti’s famous migration, the lush Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara’s tree-climbing lions. Experience the awe of Amboseli National Park, with elephants against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. This adventure combines thrilling game drives, cultural encounters, and breathtaking landscapes, ensuring memories that will last a lifetime.
Your safari adventure begins with a pickup from your Nairobi accommodation or the airport. You will journey through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley, with the iconic Mount Longonot standing tall in the distance. As you traverse the valley, you’ll witness local villages and picturesque landscapes.
Your first stop is Lake Nakuru, an ornithologist’s paradise. This stunning lake is renowned for its vast flocks of flamingos that create a beautiful pink carpet over the waters, alongside over 400 bird species. The area is also home to a variety of wildlife including rhinos, giraffes, and baboons, offering excellent game viewing.
In the evening, you’ll relax at your lodge or tented camp within the park, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner after an eventful day.
Start your day with breakfast before heading towards Lake Naivasha. En route, enjoy a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, where you might spot Rothschild giraffes, zebras, and various antelopes.
Upon reaching Lake Naivasha, you’ll have lunch at your camp or lodge, and you’ll be free to relax. For those seeking more adventure, there’s an optional boat safari on the lake to explore its diverse wildlife and birdlife, including hippos and water birds.
As dusk falls, enjoy a serene lakeside walk to observe the stunning shift from day to night in the African wilderness. Dinner will be served at your accommodation.
After breakfast, take an exhilarating bike ride through Hell’s Gate National Park, known for its dramatic landscape of towering rock formations, natural geysers, and thermal springs.
Then, it’s onward to the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, where you’ll embark on your first game drive. The Mara is a vast, open savanna teeming with wildlife, including the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinoceroses.
After the game drive, head to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and a well-deserved rest.
Wake up early for a day of exhilarating wildlife encounters in the Masai Mara. Your expert safari guide will lead you across the plains, where you’ll witness early morning predator activity, including lions hunting or cheetahs on the prowl.
The vast savanna stretches to the horizon, offering ample opportunities to see giraffes, elephants, wildebeest, and other iconic animals. Your lunch will be a scenic picnic, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Mara while watching the wildlife go about their day.
In the afternoon, continue tracking animals and observing their behavior. Dinner will be served at your camp or lodge.
On your second day in the Masai Mara, venture deeper into the reserve for more thrilling wildlife experiences. The park’s diversity offers the chance to see large herds of elephants, migrating buffalo, and the infamous “cats” of the Mara – lions, leopards, and cheetahs.
With a picnic lunch served in the park, you’ll have the flexibility to explore further and capture stunning photos of the animals in their natural habitat. After your afternoon game drive, return to your accommodation for a relaxing dinner.
Start the day early, with a morning game drive to catch a glimpse of the Mara’s wildlife as the sun rises. After breakfast, head toward the Isebania border post for your transition into Tanzania, where you’ll begin your Serengeti safari.
Entering Serengeti National Park, enjoy an afternoon game drive, spotting an abundance of wildlife. The Serengeti is world-renowned for its annual migration of wildebeest, along with vast populations of predators, including lions and cheetahs.
Your day ends at your lodge or tented camp, where you’ll enjoy dinner and reflect on the incredible sights you’ve already encountered.
Rise early for another exciting day in the Serengeti. As the sun breaks over the plains, witness the Serengeti come to life, with lions finishing their nocturnal hunts and grazers starting their day.
Spend the day exploring the park on thrilling game drives, keeping an eye out for elephants, giraffes, and the elusive leopard. Enjoy a picnic lunch under the shade of a tree, then continue your safari experience, capturing the mesmerizing beauty of this wildlife haven. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner.
On your second day in the Serengeti, you’ll have the flexibility to choose between a morning game drive, a relaxing break, and an evening safari for a different perspective on the park.
The evening safari offers a chance to see nocturnal animals in action, as the cool evening air brings out creatures like hyenas and nocturnal predators. This unique experience lets you witness the Serengeti’s wildlife from a fresh perspective.
Dinner will be served at your camp, wrapping up another unforgettable day on safari.
This morning, you have the option to visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their unique culture and relationship with the land and wildlife. Following this, take a scenic drive to Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll descend into the caldera for a game drive.
Ngorongoro Crater is often referred to as the “Garden of Eden” due to its fertile land and abundant wildlife, including lions, buffalo, and rhinoceroses. After your game drive, enjoy dinner at your camp or lodge.
Begin your day with a thrilling game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, before heading to Lake Manyara National Park. The park’s dense forests and diverse wildlife, including tree-climbing lions, offer a different experience compared to the other parks.
Enjoy a picnic lunch by the lakeside while spotting flamingos and other bird species, then continue your safari in this small but rich park, home to elephants, baboons, and a variety of other creatures. Dinner will be served back at your camp.
After breakfast, head towards Amboseli National Park in Kenya, famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, enjoy an introductory game drive as you approach the park’s lush wetlands and savannas.
The evening will provide an opportunity to spot wildlife as you head to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and rest.
Spend the day exploring Amboseli’s vast plains, with Mount Kilimanjaro towering in the background. The park is home to elephants, lions, cheetahs, and a variety of birds. Optional visits to Maasai villages can offer a cultural insight into the Maasai people’s harmonious relationship with the land.
A picnic lunch amidst the wildlife gives you plenty of time to explore this stunning park. Return to your accommodation for a hearty dinner and reflections on your safari experience.
On your final day, enjoy an early morning game drive to catch the majestic sight of Mount Kilimanjaro in the soft light of dawn. After breakfast, head back towards Nairobi, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or airport, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.

I just completed my 4-day trip to Mount Kenya and I’m very satisfied with all the services provided. I received excellent assistance throughout the entire process, from start to finish. I would strongly recommend choosing them if you’re planning a trip to Kenya—I would definitely choose them again if I return.Posted on Ajith Vasudevan2025.03.03.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After screening and talking to about 5 travel operators, I decided to go with Nature Romp for an 8 day safari in Kenya, in Feb 2025. Their rate was competitive and selection of lodges to stay very good. Initially I was skeptical due to less reviews about Nature Romp in public domain. However when I talked to Yvonne, I understood that theirs is a fairly new company and I decided to go with them. We (my daughter and I) opted for a private tour covering Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli. We were received at the Nairobi airport and the next day early morning Yvonne, Lucy and Maxwell (guide cum driver) welcomed us at the hotel, prior to starting the safari. We instantly felt at home and from then onwards it was a positive experience all the time. Our guide Maxwell is an excellent guide. He knew about birds and animals, their behavior and diligent in driving (safe driving). He was always on time. If i had to do anything differently, its only about selecting the stay option at one place (Naivasha). Although the accommodation was very good, it was pretty far from the National park. Drawing the route map and time to take to this palace would have helped me giving an additional 4 hours for bird photography. Thank you Yvonne and Maxwell. I surely plan to do another safari with Nature Romp in 2026Posted on Charles Otieno2024.11.26.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. initially asked for 3 quotations for my 7-days safari in Kenya (Masai Mara-Amboseli-Nakuru-Naivasha). All 3 tours companies replied me right away but Ms Yvonne Ateka from Nature Romp Safaris was by far the most outstanding and patient in answering dozens of my questions concerning visa, safety, accommodation, preparation, etc… She was also extremely flexible in helping me changing my safari schedule due to my unexpected 2-days delay at transit airport New Delhi. The entire tour was fascinating!!! It was the very best trip I’ve ever had (I’ve travelled 30+ countries so far)! Kenyan nature and wildlife is breathtakingly beautiful even more than I’ve imagined before… Freddy was very caring, knowledgeable and a super offroad driver. Thank you so much again Yvonne & Freddy for making my trip in Kenya a great experience! I would wholeheartedly recommend you guys for all my friends travelling to you amazing country!Posted on Paola2024.03.09.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
