Tour Highlights/Overview
7:00 am, It’s safari time and that means an early rise for more hours spent at the park.
Your Nature Romp Safaris driver/guide will be at your hotel or resort for the pre-dawn pickup.
Hop into your private 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep for the pretty journey to the park on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.
We’ll enjoy the African sunrise breaking over the passing fields en route to the reserve.
Soon the great, rugged plains of Tsavo East will stretch out before you with their treasures of elephant, lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, antelope, and many other species.
We’ll enjoy a lunch break at your safari lodge or tented camp and then head out for more game-driving action.
The sunsets here can be stunning and you’ll appreciate the changing light and cooler air as we near evening.
Now it’s time for dinner and relaxation at your Tsavo East accommodation. Rest up for your second day on safari.
We’ll be up with the sun, the best time to view the natural world coming alive with the new day.
This early game drive will give us opportunities to view the wildlife in a cool, quiet setting.
Then we’ll head back for a well-earned breakfast amidst the colors and sounds of the park’s early morning.
We’ll head out again for more animal sightings as we exit the park, lion, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and hundreds of bird species.
Lunch will be at a rustic restaurant near the exit gate just outside the park before we head back on the highway to return to the coast and Diani Beach.
It’s been two days of wild animal spotting over the plains and savannahs of Tsavo East National Park.
