At 07:00 am, you’ll be picked up from your hotel or residence in Arusha and begin your scenic drive towards Serengeti National Park (14,763 sq km or 5,700 sq miles).
Along the way, enjoy the beautiful Tanzanian landscapes as you make your way into the park.
Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before heading out for your first game drive.
Serengeti is home to a vast array of wildlife including lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, gazelles, and more.
The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise with many species, including Eurasian migrants.
After an exciting afternoon of wildlife viewing, you’ll head back to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, set off on a full, day game drive through the Serengeti.
Enjoy a packed picnic lunch while exploring the vast plains.
The name “Serengeti” comes from the Maasai language, meaning “endless plains,” and it truly lives up to its name.
On the central plains, you’ll have the opportunity to see large carnivores such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, as well as herbivores like giraffes, impalas, wildebeest, and zebras.
The Serengeti is world, renowned for the Great Migration of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, which takes place annually.
The migration is followed by predators like lions, cheetahs, and wild dogs, making for a dramatic and unforgettable wildlife spectacle.
You’ll also encounter a variety of bird species, including eagles, vultures, ibis, storks, herons, and pelicans, among others.

At the end of the day, return to your camp or lodge for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.
You’ll start your final day with a wake, up call at 06:00 am.
After a quick cup of tea or coffee, you’ll head out on an early, morning game drive, giving you the opportunity to witness dawn kills by the wild cats and the early morning activities of the park’s wildlife.
After the game drive, return to your camp or lodge at around 09:30 am for a delicious breakfast.
After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Arusha, with another game drive en route.

You’ll arrive in Arusha by the late afternoon.
Depending on your travel plans, you’ll either be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
