Upon landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your personal driver-guide will welcome you warmly and brief you on your upcoming safari adventure. You’ll then begin your journey southbound, traversing the scenic Kenyan landscapes toward Amboseli National Park, nestled at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro.
After your check-in at the lodge, take time to relax and soak in the ambiance of the African wilderness. By late afternoon (around 4:00 pm), set out on your first game drive, cruising through the dust-veiled plains in search of elephants, lions, and an array of bird species. Amboseli’s open terrain offers unrivaled opportunities to observe large herds of elephants up close, with the snow-capped peaks of Kilimanjaro painting a majestic backdrop. Return to the lodge by 6:00 pm for dinner and a restful night under the African stars.
After an early breakfast, venture out into the wild for a full day of exploration within the park. Amboseli offers a unique blend of habitats — from lush swamps and acacia woodlands to dusty salt flats and dry lake beds. Here, your wildlife sightings may include buffalo wallowing in the wetlands, graceful giraffes, zebras, warthogs, and possibly lions on the prowl.
Enjoy a picnic-style lunch under the shade of an acacia tree, allowing for uninterrupted wildlife viewing. As the sun begins to set and clouds lift, Kilimanjaro reveals itself more clearly, creating an unforgettable photo opportunity with elephants silhouetted against its snowy summit. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, check out and enjoy a morning game drive en route as you exit Amboseli. Your journey continues northwards, covering a long but scenic distance to Lake Nakuru National Park. Along the way, you’ll stop for lunch and a scenic break at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint, a spectacular panorama of ancient geological rifts and escarpments.
Arrive in Lake Nakuru by late afternoon and dive straight into a game drive. The lake’s pink-hued shores, created by thousands of flamingoes, provide a vibrant setting for viewing rhinos, zebras, Rothschild giraffes, and other species. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge near the lake.
Following breakfast, your journey continues with a short scenic drive west to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake surrounded by yellow-barked acacia forests and teeming with wildlife. Check in at your lodge in time for a warm lunch.
Lake Naivasha is famed for its hippo pods, over 300 bird species, and tranquil boat rides. Spend your afternoon at leisure, with optional activities like boat safaris or guided nature walks. Keep an eye out for the striking African Fish Eagle as it swoops for its catch. Overnight and dinner at your lodge.
After breakfast, explore Hell’s Gate National Park, one of Kenya’s few parks where visitors can hike or cycle among towering cliffs, deep gorges, and steam-spewing fumaroles. Discover the geothermal wonders and the rich array of wildlife including eland, zebras, and birdlife.
In the late morning, depart for the legendary Masai Mara, journeying through the scenic highlands and rolling savannahs of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at your camp in time for lunch and a chance to unwind. In the evening, embark on a sunset game drive across the Mara plains, where lions, elephants, and gazelles may be spotted under golden skies. Dinner and overnight at the safari camp.
Today is dedicated to a full-day exploration of the Masai Mara, one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. After breakfast, set off with picnic lunch boxes for an immersive wildlife experience. Visit the Mara River, where crocodiles and hippos lurk and, during migration season, witness the dramatic crossing of wildebeests.
You may opt for a hot air balloon safari at dawn (extra cost) or visit a traditional Maasai village for cultural insights. This reserve offers exceptional chances to spot the “Big Five”, especially cheetahs and lions. Return to your camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Rise early for a sunrise game drive, when predators are most active and the golden light creates a magical safari atmosphere. After breakfast, pack up and depart for Nairobi.
Upon arrival, you have the option to stop for lunch (at own cost) and explore city highlights such as the Giraffe Centre or Nairobi National Park (optional excursions). Later, your driver-guide will transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight — bringing your unforgettable Kenya safari expedition to a close.

I just completed my 4-day trip to Mount Kenya and I’m very satisfied with all the services provided. I received excellent assistance throughout the entire process, from start to finish. I would strongly recommend choosing them if you’re planning a trip to Kenya—I would definitely choose them again if I return.Posted on Ajith Vasudevan2025.03.03.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After screening and talking to about 5 travel operators, I decided to go with Nature Romp for an 8 day safari in Kenya, in Feb 2025. Their rate was competitive and selection of lodges to stay very good. Initially I was skeptical due to less reviews about Nature Romp in public domain. However when I talked to Yvonne, I understood that theirs is a fairly new company and I decided to go with them. We (my daughter and I) opted for a private tour covering Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli. We were received at the Nairobi airport and the next day early morning Yvonne, Lucy and Maxwell (guide cum driver) welcomed us at the hotel, prior to starting the safari. We instantly felt at home and from then onwards it was a positive experience all the time. Our guide Maxwell is an excellent guide. He knew about birds and animals, their behavior and diligent in driving (safe driving). He was always on time. If i had to do anything differently, its only about selecting the stay option at one place (Naivasha). Although the accommodation was very good, it was pretty far from the National park. Drawing the route map and time to take to this palace would have helped me giving an additional 4 hours for bird photography. Thank you Yvonne and Maxwell. I surely plan to do another safari with Nature Romp in 2026Posted on Charles Otieno2024.11.26.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. initially asked for 3 quotations for my 7-days safari in Kenya (Masai Mara-Amboseli-Nakuru-Naivasha). All 3 tours companies replied me right away but Ms Yvonne Ateka from Nature Romp Safaris was by far the most outstanding and patient in answering dozens of my questions concerning visa, safety, accommodation, preparation, etc… She was also extremely flexible in helping me changing my safari schedule due to my unexpected 2-days delay at transit airport New Delhi. The entire tour was fascinating!!! It was the very best trip I’ve ever had (I’ve travelled 30+ countries so far)! Kenyan nature and wildlife is breathtakingly beautiful even more than I’ve imagined before… Freddy was very caring, knowledgeable and a super offroad driver. Thank you so much again Yvonne & Freddy for making my trip in Kenya a great experience! I would wholeheartedly recommend you guys for all my friends travelling to you amazing country!Posted on Paola2024.03.09.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
