Embark on a journey that blends aerial elegance with untamed exploration, flying between Kenya’s most spectacular wildlife regions. This 7-day luxury fly-in safari takes you from the remote, dramatic terrain of Samburu to the legendary plains of the Maasai Mara, home of the Great Migration and the Big Five.
With bush-to-bush flights, thrilling daily game drives, authentic cultural encounters, and the option to soar at sunrise in a hot air balloon, this experience offers a perfect mix of comfort, adventure, and connection with nature. Every moment is curated to immerse you deeper into the wild—where every track tells a story and every sunset paints the savannah in gold.
Kick off your African odyssey with a morning transfer to Wilson Airport, Nairobi’s gateway to the skies of the wild. Board your light aircraft safari flight north to Samburu National Reserve, soaring over the EwasoNyiro River and northern rift valleys.
Touch down in Samburu’s rugged heartland, where you’ll be greeted by your expert guide and driven to your lodge or tented camp with en-route wildlife sightings of elephants, oryx, and dik-diks.After a hearty bush-style welcome lunch, head out for your first afternoon game drive, exploring Samburu’s dramatic red-dust landscapes and tracking down rare species. Expect to encounter big cats, reticulated giraffes, Grevy’s zebras, and desert-adapted elephants as the sun dips behind the ochre hills.
Begin the day with a sunrise game drive, a magical time to witness predators returning from the hunt and herbivores grazing in the morning light.
After breakfast, delve deeper into the reserve on a mid-morning or full-day game drive, seeking out the Samburu Special Five:
This dry, open terrain allows for superb visibility and rare photographic opportunities. In the afternoon, visit a nearby Samburu manyatta (village) for an authentic cultural immersion. Learn about traditional customs, ceremonies, warrior dances, and how the Samburu live in harmony with nature.Return to the lodge for a sunset cocktail, followed by dinner under a canopy of stars.
After breakfast and a relaxed morning game drive, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Maasai Mara National Reserve, the jewel of Kenya’s safari circuit.
As your plane glides south, watch the scenery shift from semi-arid lands to the lush, rolling grasslands of the Mara. Upon arrival, your driver-guide will meet you and whisk you away on a scenic game drive en route to your luxury camp.Afer a delectable bush lunch and a short rest, venture out for your first Mara afternoon game drive. Spotting the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo—is a real possibility here, along with hyenas, topi, and even the occasional cheetah chase.
Wake up to the sounds of the wild and head out on a dawn game drive, the best time for predator sightings. Watch lion prides stretching after the night hunt or leopards retreating into trees.
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day safari with a picnic lunch out in the bush, exploring the expansive Mara ecosystem. During the migration season (July–October), the plains come alive with over a million wildebeest and zebra, creating a predator-prey spectacle unmatched anywhere on Earth.
In the late afternoon, experience a Maasai cultural visit—meet local elders, learn traditional songs and dances, and understand the symbiotic relationship between the Maasai and their environment.
For the adventurous, begin your day with an optional hot air balloon safari at dawn. Float silently above the plains as herds roam below and the sun rises over the horizon—followed by a champagne bush breakfast (pre-booking recommended).Spend the day as you choose:
Enjoy a bush lunch with panoramic views.
Relax at your camp, perhaps with a spa treatment or a viewing deck siesta.
The Mara never repeats itself—each game drive brings new wonders.
After breakfast, head out for a final full-day game drive, soaking up the diverse habitats of the Mara—from riverine forests to open plains. Today’s focus may include birdwatching, tracking specific species, or revisiting favorite wildlife hotspots.
Later, visit a local craft market where you can purchase authentic Maasai beadwork, textiles, and carvings—souvenirs that support local artisans and communities.
End the day with a sundowner at a scenic viewpoint followed by a farewell dinner under the stars.
Enjoy a final early morning game drive, capturing last glimpses of your favorite animals in the golden light. After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport.
Upon arrival, your driver will transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international flight, or to your Nairobi hotel, depending on your travel plans.
Carry with you a heart full of memories—from roaring lions to warrior dances, from sunrise balloon rides to starlit dinners in the bush.

I just completed my 4-day trip to Mount Kenya and I’m very satisfied with all the services provided. I received excellent assistance throughout the entire process, from start to finish. I would strongly recommend choosing them if you’re planning a trip to Kenya—I would definitely choose them again if I return.Posted on Ajith Vasudevan2025.03.03.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. After screening and talking to about 5 travel operators, I decided to go with Nature Romp for an 8 day safari in Kenya, in Feb 2025. Their rate was competitive and selection of lodges to stay very good. Initially I was skeptical due to less reviews about Nature Romp in public domain. However when I talked to Yvonne, I understood that theirs is a fairly new company and I decided to go with them. We (my daughter and I) opted for a private tour covering Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli. We were received at the Nairobi airport and the next day early morning Yvonne, Lucy and Maxwell (guide cum driver) welcomed us at the hotel, prior to starting the safari. We instantly felt at home and from then onwards it was a positive experience all the time. Our guide Maxwell is an excellent guide. He knew about birds and animals, their behavior and diligent in driving (safe driving). He was always on time. If i had to do anything differently, its only about selecting the stay option at one place (Naivasha). Although the accommodation was very good, it was pretty far from the National park. Drawing the route map and time to take to this palace would have helped me giving an additional 4 hours for bird photography. Thank you Yvonne and Maxwell. I surely plan to do another safari with Nature Romp in 2026Posted on Charles Otieno2024.11.26.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. initially asked for 3 quotations for my 7-days safari in Kenya (Masai Mara-Amboseli-Nakuru-Naivasha). All 3 tours companies replied me right away but Ms Yvonne Ateka from Nature Romp Safaris was by far the most outstanding and patient in answering dozens of my questions concerning visa, safety, accommodation, preparation, etc… She was also extremely flexible in helping me changing my safari schedule due to my unexpected 2-days delay at transit airport New Delhi. The entire tour was fascinating!!! It was the very best trip I’ve ever had (I’ve travelled 30+ countries so far)! Kenyan nature and wildlife is breathtakingly beautiful even more than I’ve imagined before… Freddy was very caring, knowledgeable and a super offroad driver. Thank you so much again Yvonne & Freddy for making my trip in Kenya a great experience! I would wholeheartedly recommend you guys for all my friends travelling to you amazing country!Posted on Paola2024.03.09.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
