ITINERARY
Day 1: Nairobi- Diani
Fly from Wilson Airport and arrive in Ukunda airstrip( 1 hour flight) .Upon your arrival, Meet Nature Romp safaris driver who will pick you up and drive you to your accommodation of choice .Have a rest as you wait for your lunch. After lunch you will have time to relax by the pool side and swim. Dinner and Overnight at the Hotel of your choice.
Day 2: full-day Mangrove Tree Planting
Have Breakfast. Depart for mangrove tree planting experience, you will be met by a guide who will provide you with all the necessary equipment and instructions. You will then learn about the importance of mangrove trees and the role they play in the coastal ecosystem. Next, you will plant your own mangrove tree.
After planting your mangrove tree, you will have some time to explore the mangrove forest and learn more about the different plants and animals that live there. You may also have the opportunity to go for a boat ride or swim in the mangrove creek. Return for Dinner and Overnight at your hotel
Day 3:Visit Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park
Marine park excursion you will have the opportunity to spend a day on a dhow sailing across the ocean and then snorkel around coral reefs.The reef offers sanctuary to over 200 dolphins - spinner, humpback and bottlenose, which all can be encountered breaking above the waves as they porpoise elegantly through the water. Humpback whales ,are as well spotted here.
Glance at the warm, clear water with pristine corals and a myriad of fish which makes scuba diving and snorkeling here something for beginners and professionals alike. It is best to snorkel two hours either side of the low tide, when more marine life is active. However the best time to visit is early morning when the sea is calm.
