Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve
Pick up from your hotel at 7:30am, and head for Masai Mara Game Reserve. Just a few kilometers from Nairobi you’ll be able to have a view of the great rift valley, where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Later continue driving through Longonot and Suswa and on to the Western walls before arriving in time for lunch. After lunch and relaxation proceed for an afternoon game drive in the reserve where you will be on the look for the big five; Elephants, Lions, Buffalo, Leopards and Rhino. Dinner and Overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge or a similar lodge.
Day 2: Full Day Masai Mara Game Reserve
Early morning game drive and return for breakfast. After breakfast spend the entire day viewing the great predators and explore the parks amazingly high concentration of wild animals. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. You will have picnic lunches in the Reserve as you scale the Mara beauty seated at the banks of Mara river. During the stay you will also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Maasai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. Dinner and Overnight at the Mara Sopa Lodge or a similar lodge.
Day 3: Mara- Nakuru
Early breakfast, then head to the park for the last chance to spot the big cats hunting as the sun rises lighting the golden plains of Masai Mara. The Kenya safari adventure continues on to the Lake Nakuru, one of the most beautiful parks in Africa, widely known as a bird paradise and a Rhino sanctuary. You arrive in the evening, for a chance to have a short game drive in the Lake Nakuru and later a relaxing evening at the Hotel.
Day 4: Nakuru-Amboseli
Your Africa safari tour starts with an extensive game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The Kenya safari experience is unique in every park because of the diverse natural ecosystem. This alkaline lake is host to millions of pink flamingos that cover the lake’s shorelines. The Lake ecosystem is also a habitat to over 400 species of birds. The park has cliff tops that serve as viewpoints for seeing lions, white and black rhinos, waterbucks, reedbucks, warthogs, and buffaloes. This is one of the few places in Kenya where you can see both the white and black rhinos at the same place, as this park is also a rhino sanctuary. Later we will exit the park and drive to Amboseli via Nairobi, arriving in the evening at the lodge.
DAY 5: AMBOSELI FULL DAY
A full day of game drives in this park will showcase the large numbers of wildlife easily found bathing in the swamps found here. Amboseli National park gives a beautiful safari experience and breath-taking scenery as you watch the elephants and buffalos roam at the base of Mt Kilimanjaro. Apart from the elephants; you will also encounter cheetahs, Zebras, hyenas, and many others. You will have your picnic lunch in a shade in the park and then continue with the afternoon game-viewing. When the clouds clear off in the evening, you can see the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro. Later you will head back to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Amboseli National Park – Arusha
Pre-morning game viewing, and drive to the Namanga Border, where you will be met by your Tanzania guide who will drive you to Arusha. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at Christina house , booked on bed and breakfast.
Day 7: Arusha-Lake Manyara
After breakfast depart for Lake Manyara for game viewing. This soda ash lake consists of huge flocks of pink flamingos, giving a breathtaking scenery. The park is also famously known for its tree-climbing lions, big number of elephants, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, warthogs, baboons and the lesser known wildlife like the dik-diks, and the klipspringer. Dinner and overnight will be in basic tents at the Panorama Campsite or Similar.
DAY 8: Lake Manyara - Serengeti National Park
After our breakfast, we head to Serengeti via the Ol Duvai Gorge Museum, where the early man appeared, a million years ago. Upon arrival, we will head to the Serengeti National Park, which is widely known for the greatest wildlife spectacle, the great migration of wildebeest. The Plains are also home to resident population of elephants, cheetahs, lions, giraffes and birds. overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge or Serengeti Tortilis Camp or a similar lodge / camp.
Day 9: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, Drive to Ngorongoro Crater for game drives. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as prides of lion that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingos and a variety of water birds. Other game that you can see includes leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals. In the late afternoon. Drive to SIMBA Campsite or Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge, or a similar lodge / camp for overnight
DAY 10:Ngorongoro- Arusha
After breakfast, check out with a picnic lunch box for the last Kenya and Tanzania budget camping safari experience in Ngorongoro crater which is a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Enjoy 6 hours game drive down the Crater Rim, a Picnic lunch, and ascend to the main gate with amazing views, exit, and drive to Arusha town arriving at the Christina Hotel late evening for check-in, booked on Bed and Breakfast.
DAY 11: ARUSHA- NAIROBI
After breakfast, meet Nature Romp safaris agent for transfer to Nairobi with a drop off at your hotel/residence or airport
